Jason Loughridge - CEO PRESIDENT

Jason Loughridge is a prominent and successful movie producer. He is CEO and President of Project 8 Films, a Los Angeles-based production and post company. He is also President of Project 8 Releasing, a new subsidiary theatrical releasing company in which he is partnered with Greg Rutkowski, former executive with the well-known national theater chain, AMC Theatres.

Jasons 2009 film credits as producer include the award-winning thriller THE BLACK WATERS OF ECHOS POND, scheduled for widespread release this April in 500 theatres across the country and also in Japan. (The film recently won the coveted Best Audience Award at both the Horror Hound Film Festival in Cincinnati, Ohio and the Freak Show in Orlando, Florida.) Jason has targeted the second installment of BLACK WATERS, currently in preproduction, to create a lucrative new franchise for Project 8 Films and partner Parallel Media.

Also in 2009 Jason produced another Project 8 Films movie entitled COSTA RICAN SUMMER starring Pamela Anderson and Peter Dante. The comedy is scheduled for a 2010 summer release with a second installment to be produced this summer. Again in 2009, Jason produced the Los Angeles portion of the comedy POOL BOYS starring Matthew Lillard and Tom Arnold, where he worked closely with noted director JB Rogers.

Project 8 Films has over eight films in various stages of production for 2010. Among them is an action film entitled EYES OF THE KING starring Luke Goss and Gary Oldman. Jason is also prominently involved in preproduction of the comedy FINE IRISH WHISKEY to be directed by JB Rogers.

In addition, under Jasons supervision Project 8 Films is currently in the process of creating an exciting new horror outlet called Screem Gemz. With all the movie production, the theatrical releasing division, and the new horror outlet, Jason is confident that his company will continue to thrive and grow as a successful full service in-house production/postproduction and sales company with built-in down stream outlets.

Prior to establishing Project 8 Films, Jason served as Vice-President of Hip Films which produced films, TV shows, and music videos. He was also actively involved in raising financing.

Jason is a highly respected film producer who has built a solid reputation for consistently completing movies on time and on budget. Over the course of his career he has developed trusted relationships with members of Hollywood's most important powerbrokers. His professionalism and expert knowledge of preproduction, production, postproduction -- and distribution! - make him an indispensable asset to any film production.
